How the 2026 E-Liquid Duty Will Affect Prices

Understanding the real cost impact of the new UK Vaping Products Duty

The New Duty Explained

From October 2026, the UK government is introducing a new Vaping Products Duty of £2.20 per 10ml of e-liquid. When VAT is added, this totals a £2.64 increase per 10ml bottle.

There is a sell through period, where Pre-duty stock can be sold, but this ends April 2027. We will continue to sell at current prices as long as we have it in stock. 

Still Much Cheaper Than Cigarettes

Even with the new duty, vaping remains significantly more affordable than smoking.

Price Impact Examples

Prices shown are estimates only  — they are intended to give a general idea of the cost impact. There is a sell through period until April 2027. Prices might not change straightaway in October. 

Prices will change dependant on pre-duty stock availablity during the sell through period (Oct 2026-April 2027). After April 2027, all products with eliquid must include the eliquid duty.
